I'm trying to switch everything over to jesscumbie.com. People get me confused, they think I'm blissfulphotos... and I guess I am but it's not my business name, my business name is Jess Cumbie Photography which is what I want to be known as, so to eliminate the confusion I've started a new blog it will be located at www.jesscumbie.blogspot.com... soon there will be a new myspace and it will also be www.myspace.com/jesscumbie... I haven't added Feedblitz to the new blog yet but I will let you know when I do so that you can make the switch for updates :)
Last year I went to Garden Ridge and got loads of Easter/Spring flowers and props for pictures I was "scheduled" to take for a local company here in Jacksonville. The company then decided why pay a photographer when we can take the photos ourselves and I got stuck with all this Easter themed props.
I was determined to use them this year, and hosted an Easter Photo event at a friends house in Orange Park, and also one for family at my Nanna's house. The photos turned out sooooo cute...
The last little girl is my favorite Family member Sydney!!!! Also my Favorite photography subject!
Next month as a matter of fact!!!! I met Christy through myspace but through another bride on theknot.com. LOL that sounds soooo confusing. My friend and future bride Heather is very active on theknot.com's forums and when I run specials she tends to mention them on there. I had NO idea she did this until I got a myspace message one day back in December about budiour photos for Valentines day. That's how I met Christy she read Heathers forum post then contacted me... I thought it was some kind of scam so I questioned the crap out of Christy cause I thought she might be someone else... but turned out Heather is just like a walking advertisement for me which is so cool. I hadn't even photographed Heather at this point. Heather and Christy's first photo shoot with me was "Ladies Night"
Later in the Month of January I held a contest for a Valentines Day couple China and Jacob won that contest but Christy and Shawn came in as runners up and won 50% off a couples session. Between my schedule, Christy's and Shawn's hectic work schedule we weren't able to get around to them till a few weeks ago. I wanted to share their story and fav photos from their session here on my blog.
Christy and Shawn met in a very similar fashion to Wes and I, they met online and fell in love and I think it's pretty evident from these photos just how in love they really are.....
