My September Project

Didn't work out as planned... I'm sorry for that... seems the last week and a half of this month has been well strange. Tomorrow is the last day of September 08 and I'll likely blog tomorrow since Tara and I have a seminar but that will be the last september project blog. Maybe next year I'll make it through all 30 days of the month and make it an annual thing :)

On a side note... the last two days I've read the book "Twilight" and OOOOOMMMMMGGGGG is it good. I want to start reading it over again right now and I finished it this AM. I believe it's supposed to be a teenage type book but I so don't care! I'm officially in love with a 108yr old vampire, the movie comes out in November and even though I'm sure it will pale in comparison (no pun intended) to the book I'm still going to be in line to see it. It'll be my sex in the city I suppose... hahahahahaha...

My next mission is to get Tara hooked so I have someone to gush with over the book and a movie partner... I think of all my friends she completely gets my dark side and will appreciate what I see in the book.

09/25/08 Golf Again

OK so I've missed like 4 days... I know I know....

So lastnight we went down to the driving range again... Tara got the hubby that surfs and plays guitar I got the one that goes to bed early and golfs... I suppose everything has it's ups and downs! LOL

09/21/08 Randomness

I had a little project today... I can't reveal too much about it for a while... so I'm going to post random photos throughout my day today and let you all guess as to what the project was...

I did get to spend my second day in a row with one if my fav people... Miss Shelly.... I swear I'm going to be so depressed in two years when she gets hitched and moves away! LOL

Other than finishing up editing and my project today was a bit blah...







Oh Yes.... Tara was part of the project too...

09/20/08 St. Augustine Again

So.... for the second weekend in a row I'll be in lovely historic St. Augustine, and possibly next Monday as well... I'm going back tomorrow for a shoot that Tara and I want to do, but it's hell on the ride home! I'm tired ready to be home already and still have like 20+ miles after I reach the JACKSONVILLE overpass!

Today I had a couples session... these two were in love and you could see it... he wasn't all about being seen by the camera and most guys aren't but he was playful and funny! I loved it... I even made them sit down in a busy shopping section of town and block passers by for a bit... it was awesome!

I was assisted by my lovely Husband and most favoritest assistants Miss Shelly who I will be photographing tomorrow!!!!

Anyway, enjoy the photos we snapped after the session and at dinner... which was fab!!!!

There was a couple looking out over the waves talking and hugging and kissing it was very sweet so of course I snuck a photo or two of them! how can you not?

They are actually really cute, I read through them at dinner and meant to take it with me but forgot them on the table I'm sure the waitress things we left them for her! Who knows maybe God meant for me to leave them and they actually touched someone's life tonight. (if not, let me live in my own little world please)

9/19/08 Friday Night

It must be a new Friday night thing... Josh has been coming over a couple of times a week (he's also single so that might be what's up with all the free time) Which is cool... I really enjoy hanging out with my siblings, when they just want to chill. I honestly enjoy seeing the adults they have become. Each with their own personality. Josh being well he's Josh, he's got a steady job, decent head on his shoulders tender hearted. Linds is a budding professional up in PA, she's very very smart when it comes to both life and book smarts, she's got herself a nice little job with Penn State and is doing well. Eden, well she's me! not sure how that happened we were NOT close at all growing up, till I hit about 16-17 then started to notice there were things about Eden that were a lot like me. There are almost 7 years between us but you'd never really know it if you got us together. Well you might but we act almost exactly the same, like the same things. She's got more guts than I do or did at her age that's for sure! But I love them all very much...

Today was a boring day... I'm 1/2 way done with Lauren M's Senior photos and should be able to wrap them up on Monday. Then I have to finish Lauren J's photos for her to view and blog about them both if Lauren J gives me the "ok" to show hers :D

This evening was very mundane as well... Josh headed over cause he thought he was getting his computer looked at but the guy never called, so we ended up going to get some food and return the disasterous slip covers to Target. While at target we bump into my ex-fiance Phil (it was back in highschool) and his new fiance Joy.... it was a bit strange. Phil and I are still friends and we talk from time to time but I've never met Joy. Josh and Phil are also best friends.... Yeah... I did a post a while back "my tangled web" (if there is no link there, go back and find it, it's interesting stuff) Anyway I was looking for a new planner they were buying wedding invitations... yeah.... I keep trying to get Phil to book me as his wedding photographer but he says she's making that call so maybe I should have slipped her a business card... Hi dated your soon to be hubby in highschool, my bother is now his best friend, can I'd like to be your wedding photographer, here's my card :D Don't see that happening, or going over too well.... LOL

OK OK, enough about the oddness of the night and onto the fun photos....

09/18/08 Day-o-Stupid

So... I'm all excited about today. It's my day off, I'm having lunch with Kimberly before she becomes a Mom (any day now) we are getting pedicures and everything! I remember my camera to show you all the fun stuff from my day.... I get to chili's and my camera is acting strange.... hmmm what's up with this...

**back story... I was half an hour late meeting Kimberly!!! Forgot to shave my legs and loads of other things!!! I took my battery out of my camera cause it was dead and laid another on my chase beside my camera to stick in there for today....

OK.... (did you guess what I forgot) I left my battery at home... so all the fun of my day and showing it off to you guys... yep right on out the window!!!!!!!

SORRY!!!! I felt like such an idget.... I have 6 batteries all of which are charged and I guess I'll have to start carrying one in my purse!!!!!

So I came home and decided to be goofy... Today was the day off and the mood around the Cumbie house has been totally chill. Which is awesome!!!!!

Well Jersey, my oldest gave me a nice little show today... instead of making the blog 20 images long... I decided to use one of the silly photobucket slideshows... LOL

9/17/08 Cheating Again

Well I figured two days no photos on the blog would be bad... seeing how I had planned at least 5 per day.... *sigh*

Today was another really super boring day in the office... Well boring photo wise I got A LOT done... I finished Ashley's photos, some re-edits that I wanted to do, and the start of Lauren's Senior Session so all in all it was a very very productive day.... Aside from my bad tummy ache that hit me around 11am....

My computer on the other hand was not all that happy with me and decided to kinda slow down towards the end of the day so I had to close everything down and defragment..... For the first time since I've had this computer and disk keeper it took more than an hour to defrag!!!!!

It was out of control!!!!!
